Reminder: Parent/ Teacher conferences are tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th, from 1:30 to 8:00 p.m! School dismissal at 1:15. Middle School and High School Conferences are held in the Old Gym.
We are excited to share a wonderful cooperative unit led by our talented eighth graders! The eighth graders were responsible for creating a comprehensive lesson plan for our Groton Kindergarten Class and St. John’s Lutheran Preschool students. The eighth graders designed an engaging reading activity that introduced young students to the joy of storytelling. In addition to reading, our eighth graders led a hands-on learning activity aimed at developing foundational skills in a fun and interactive way. This activity included various stations that focused on important concepts such as numbers, letters, and shapes, allowing the little ones to learn through play. To make learning even more enjoyable, a fun and educational game was the final activity. A huge thank you to Lindsey DeHoet, Ann Gibbs, Joni Groeblinghoff, Elizabeth Bahr, Ashley Brudvig, and Tricia Keith for everything they do to promote learning.
These Kindergarten students are ready to share some Valentine love with the residents of Rosewood Court.

Good evening. Due to the dangerously cold windchills and the Extreme Cold Warning for our area, the Groton Area School District will be starting 2 hours late on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. OST will be opening at 7:00 AM.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, the SDHSAA has changed from taking 10 teams, back to 8 teams. Groton falls as #9 so will not be attending the State B Duals this year. We are still very proud of our Tiger Wrestling Team!

Miss Jessica from the Dacotah Prairie Museum came to visit today. This is always kindergartens FAVORITE project!!! We worked so hard using our quills and ink to create our names, alphabet, and numbers. We decided pencils are easier to use but quills are definitely more fun!
