Attention...There’s been a slight schedule change to tomorrow’s basketball games at Sioux Valley. Both the boys C team and girls JV teams will play at 1 o’clock. The boys C team will play in an auxiliary gym and the girls JV team will play in the main gym. Boys JV will begin approximately at 2 PM with the varsity girls to follow at approximately 3:15 and the boys varsity to follow. This will get everyone on the road back to Groton an hour earlier.

For tomorrow’s basketball game at Sioux Valley each player will get six vouchers. Masks are required. Students K through 12 and Groton staff members are not required to have a voucher.

Restrictions for girls basketball game in Britton on December 11, 2020. Attendance is limited to those on a pre-defined pass list. If you are planning to attend, please email Coach Locke at grandslam@nvc.net. Students in grades 6-12 do not need to be on the list but should inform the ticket takers at the game they're students at Groton Area. There will be no concessions at the game.

Reminders for the Northwestern Volleyball Match: All students in grades 6th-12th may attend (ticket is required) All other spectators will be limited to close family of student-athletes Four (4) tickets per student-athlete must be distributed Please write the name and level of the athlete on the back of the ticket One of these tickets will be required for each child in 5th grade and under Children in 5th grade and under must always be accompanied by an adult If you are attending middle school matches and do not have a ticket for a C-team, Junior Varsity, or Varsity athlete, please leave after middle school matches have concluded Upon completion of the player’s event, family members are strongly encouraged to leave the facility to improve social distancing Please avoid congregation and exit as quickly as possible Everyone attending, including players and coaches when not participating, will wear a mask Logistics: Please use angle parking to increase parking availability for all fans when parking directly south of the school Fans who have paid for an annual activity pass will be admitted, but a ticket is still required The fee for fans will be $5 for adults and $3 for students in grades 6-12 Fans attending only middle school matches will not be charged admission, but a ticket is still required to enter Middle school volleyball spectators will use the northeast entrance to the school, closest to the auxiliary gym High school volleyball spectators will use the main lobby entrance to the school Ticket takers will be inside the entrance door The northwest door to the school will be reserved for coaches, athletes, and officials only The northeast door, to the high school student parking lot, will be reserved for middle school volleyball spectators Large format posters will take the place of individually printed volleyball programs These will be posted in multiple locations as you enter the facility and gymnasium As you enter, using your cell phone, please take a photo of the program to reference during the match CLARIFICATION Due to an overwhelming amount of questions and concern, please be aware of the following information: • Middle school spectators (northeast entrance) and high school spectators (school's main lobby entrance) will have separate entrances • Middle school spectators will not be charged admission • High school spectators will be charged $5 for adults and $3 for students • Tickets are required for all spectators (middle school and high school) • Middle school spectators are required to leave upon the completion of their student-athlete's match • High school spectators are strongly encouraged to attend ONLY their student-athlete's match • MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SPECTATORS!
