Our Groton Area Tiger Volleyball Team earned the #1 Seed in Region 1A and therefore, they earned a first round bye in region action! Way to go, girls!!🐯

Good Morning Groton Area Elementary!! OST will be kicking off their annual Driven Coffee Fundraiser today. Students will be bring home information today. All orders will be due on November 11. All orders will arrive before Christmas. Thank you for your continued support!
Mr. Zoellner's 2nd grade students were launching Halloween candy with their recently designed catapults.
Attention All 6th-12th Graders (and Parents) interested in Wrestling this Winter!
**There will be a meeting tomorrow (Friday, the 1st) in the Arena Lobby during lunch time for anyone interested in wrestling this year!!
- Middle Schoolers will meet at 11:17AM
- High Schoolers will meet at 12:14PM
- Lunch will be provided by Coach Zoellner.
**OPC Certification Testing is on Tuesday, November 5th! All wrestlers need to attend and Coach Zoellner will be taking the students to Aberdeen Central in the afternoon and returning them to school before the day is over.
**Wrestling Team Bonding Opportunity:
Friday, November 15th - SDSU vs Augustana Dual in Brookings at 7:00PM. We will leave Groton at 4:45PM and athletes will be admitted free of charge! Please let Coach Zoellner know if you can attend, so transportation accommodations can be made.
**Practice will begin on Monday, November 18th!
Mrs. Gonsoir's Chem 2 lab aligned perfectly with Halloween today- the synthesis of nylon which the kids said looked like spider webs! 🎃👻

Two GHS Seniors, Axel and Becca, will be recognized for being 4 year All State Chorus participants this weekend as well! Well done, singers!🎤

Our FCCLA chapter hosted our annual blood drive with a donation goal of 16 units and that goal was met!!! Thank you to all students, staff and community members who donated and our FCCLAers for making this event happen!
This Halloween, our amazing seventh graders took the lead in teaching preschoolers about safety! 🎉 They created fun and informative presentations covering costume safety, candy tips, and transportation guidelines. But that's not all! They also organized exciting games like Pumpkin Bowling, Monster Mash Musical Chairs, and Halloween Ping Pong Shots! 🎃👻

Tonight our seniors and their teammates will take the court for the final time during the regular season as they play the Pheasants from Redfield on Breast Cancer Awareness Night! We are so grateful for the dedication, hard work, and leadership these 6 seniors have shared with us during their time on the Tiger Volleyball Team.

Many members of the Groton Area HOSA (Future Healthcare Professionals) chapter attended the Fall Launch Academy at Lake Area Technical College today.
Students participated in sessions related to leadership, nursing, EMT, dental, lab science, pharmacy and phlebotomy.
We are excited to see what they accomplish throughout the year!

- We ask that as you leave Hart Ranch, you turn left and go west on Spring Creek RD for approximately 3 miles to Neck Yoke RD which will take you to a right hand turn onto Highway 16 north into Rapid City.
