Congratulations to the following students for being selected to participate in All-State Choir and Orchestra in Rapid City this weekend. Pictured above are Camryn Kurtz; Axel Warrington; Natalia Warrington; Anna Bisbee; Gavin Kroll; Rebecca Poor; Kira Clocksene; and Ashlyn Feser.
They will be performing eight songs along with almost 1000 other students under guest director Ryan Person from Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa. Some of their arrangements will also be performed with the All-State Oorchestra students. The Grand Concert will be livestreamed on SD PBS TV at 7:00 Mountain Time. Tune in to watch the largest musical event in the state!
Kindergarten celebrated learning the letter 'D' by inviting their Dads into the classroom to have Donuts with them on Wednesday morning! A special thank you to all the dads for taking time out of their busy schedules to spend this time learning with us!

Coach Malsom and the girls took off for Sioux Falls earlier today. We send our best wishes to Ryelle Gilbert as she competes in the State Cross Country Meet tomorrow morning! Run hard and have fun! We are proud of you!
Our Junior High Volleyball team sure knows how to have fun! Each Friday, the coaches planned a dress-up theme, such as tie-dye, neon, jerseys, patterns, etc. Their last practice of the season called for a Crazy Day theme, with games and pizza! It was fun watching these girls grow and develop their volleyball skills this season with Coach Fuhrman and Coach Tracy. Great season, girls!
Good luck to all of our volleyball teams as they head to Redfield tonight! 7th and C team begin at 5pm, 8th and JV at 6pm, and Varsity to follow. Good Luck, Tigers!

Congratulations to GHS senior, Sydney Leicht, on surpassing the milestone of 1,000 career digs last night! What an amazing accomplishment! Great job, Sydney!!
Last Friday, the kindergarten students learned about Fire Safety from local firefighters, Mr. Bahr and Mr. Anderson. Both classes even got to take a field trip to the fire station! Thank you Groton Fire and Rescue for taking the time out of your busy schedules to visit with us!

Although the weather outside is frightful, these four seniors and their fellow teammates are ready to play in the Battle of the Tigers tonight in their last game at Doney Field. Gametime is set for 7pm against Mobridge. Bundle up and come cheer on the Tigers!
