Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences
On Thursday, September 28, the Groton Area School District will host parent-teacher conferences for the fall semester. School will dismiss early on Thursday; 1:00 PM for Elementary Students and 1:15 PM for MS/HS Students. Buses will run accordingly.
OST will be open on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Parents of elementary students should have received information regarding a specific time to meet with their child(ren)’s teacher(s). If you haven’t yet received this information or for other questions regarding elementary conferences, please contact Groton Area Elementary at 605-397-2317.
Middle and High School Conferences are held in the GHS Gymnasium in an open-house type format. Students may earn ten bonus points by having their parents attend conferences for each of their child(ren)’s teachers for courses in which the student is not currently receiving a grade of A or A-. We encourage all parents to take the opportunity to meet with all their child(ren)’s teachers. Questions regarding Middle or High School conferences can be directed to 605-397-8381.
There will be no school for students on Friday, September 29. Staff will be participating in a day of professional development.
