The library program at Groton Area School supports the District philosophy of providing every student with an equal opportunity to achieve his or her maximum potential. In the elementary, students visit the library once a week with their class for storytime or a library skills lesson led by our librarian, Melissa Ulmer. Our MS/HS Media Center is open each day so students may research projects with Brenda Madsen serving as our head librarian helping students to find and evaluate information from both print and online sources. The library’s large collection of books meets both students’ educational and recreational reading needs. |
